final desired courses: banking and finance or accountancy and minoring in economics or business admin.
the future looks bleak in s'pore. doubt can get into any business related courses in NUS or NTU.

    Left with only 4options available:
    1. take a B.Sc or B.Eng in NUS or NTU. totally not interested in neither but they offer a 4year direct honours after which i can go overseas to attain a masters in banking n finance. pros, i'll have two specialized degrees which will take me in good stead in my future career. cons, being assuming i can do well in a course which i've no interest in for 4years den still having the drive and comittement to get a masters.
    2. since SMU takes into account not only the A's but SAT, cca and an interview/essay. i'll stand a higher chance getting a business course i want there. since all courses offered there are direct honours, able to take any course den go overseas take a masters in my desired courses. hopefully. thinking about retaking SAT on 8th May, but dunno if the result can reach SMU before 30th June. gotto check it out soon. nothing to lose except 80bucks which is nothing compared to everything so far.
    3. if still after 2years in ns i'm not satisfied wif my assigned course and left with no choice, considering going SIM. take my desired degrees offered by either RMIT uni (an aust.uni) or uni of london (uk). it's as if taking the degree in the uni itself. but being an external student the fees are still about $50k for 3years IN s'pore. quite irrelavant since it's about $25k a year in aust. so might as well go overseas. so much more fun.
    4. and of course the standard escape route for singaporean students who do not do well. an escapede to australia after ns. pros, overseas it's always direct honours. morever it's easier to get a 2nd or 1st class honour compared to s'pore. den continue with masters. in s'pore or overseas, getting a basic degree or a 3rd-class honours is as good as not going uni. cons, waste of money to go overseas juz to get a degree, much more worth it to take a degree in s'pore den go overseas to take a masters. and high chance of me veering off the aim of studying. doesn't help that my cousin is there now spurging almost 50k/year. rented his own apartment, bought a 2ndhand porsche911GT3, has yet to come back to s'pore since 2002 and planning to get PR status downunder. tat's the reason why my parents are so hesitant. my uncle can't do anything about him. screw that bastard. and i can't juz waste my parents money going overseas juz because i did badly.

well, only time can tell what are my future plans. it'll be mid-june when the NUS and NTU results come out. hopefully there'll be no more additional regrets. ohyah, on an optimistic tone, the A's is the first exam i've passed since entering ac! can anyone believe it?! haha! but it seems tat the A's is the point in life where paths of lives diverge. some ppl fall, some people carry on. i've not got a chance to celebrate clearing the stupid exam. cause most of my friends are in a fix of worry abt where would their next step in life be. not that i'm not. The A' levels has not been a pleasent experience.

the previous day was pretty enjoyable too. comfirmation stamped across my face that no hope of going NUS or NTU to takeup any business course. everything requires an average of B. with that out of the way, we caught Timeline. a pretty good show but nothing exceptional. what's with movies nowadays. den it's off to Embargo, which was near esplanade. caught only the 2ndhalf of the manu match! so had to be contented with the boring birmingham match against bolten. at least the frenchfries were generous and great!
that day was also kind of my personal celebration having stopped gambling on soccer with a final last bet. so treated them all. called like: lychee martini, chievos manhatten, frozen mango margarita, sex on the beach, s'pore sling, cherry eggs and some mimosa champagne drink thingy. den it's off to laupasat for lotsa satay and stingray. it was almost 3am and so good we had a free-ride home. thnx a million chauffeur! noott too bad la, considering she ran a red-light, e-braked in the middle of a junction den reversed back. den took round-about route taking us sight-seeing instead. so very heng we didn't allow her any alcohol or i can't even imagine the consequences!

weather tdy has been really superb! been raining dame heavily since morning. imagine the room temp at 18degrees with the heavy downpour outside. wore my coat and juz sat infront of my com the whole day watching smallville! dame shiok! and it's the first time in my 18years that i saw s'pore in floods! orchard, rocher, jalanbesar all were like 10 to 30cm deep in water. couldn't even see the car wheels.
only 21days left to enlistment! haven't bought any stuff yet! black specs and lotsa shopping to be done at beachroad. gotto backup all my files and refomatt tis dying com too. i'm dying and desperate to get into ns and get away from all of this mess i'm in@! wish i could disappear into oblivion. no cares nor concerns.

I am not what I ought to be. I am not what I want to be. I am not what I hope to be. But still, I am not what I used to be, & by the grace of God I am what I am. I am proud to be who I am.
