bored.

since good old merry christmas's in three days time. season of giving is near with the family now packing the goodies and food-preparation for that pre-christmas celebration tmr evening with my dad's extended side and their friends... why not let me list 10 oxymoronic resolutions?

1) i am going to quit clubbing/socialising or even anything remotely connected with that. no more 2pm to 6am. basically: wake up 9am sleep 10pm. with a swim, game of tennis and stint in the gym somewhere in between.
2) i am going to quit all vices. whatever i view as vices. can't believe i have good friends title-ling me a vice-king. whatever
3) i wont touch anything alcoholic (jolly shandy or those 7-11 bottles of liquids included).
4) i am not going to step anywhere near jiak kim street/geylang rd/arab street, except to eat the bar chor mee of course.
5) i will stop listening to all these sleazy rnb songs/techno/dance which teach me all the wrong values in life, i'll start to download opera, broadway, jazz and all.
6i) i'll never be late for school ever again. starting 07 august 2006...
6ii) i'll never ever pon school again.
7) i shall have no evil thoughts anymore when hot chicks walk past me, i'll steer clear of all temptation and make myself as saintly as i can.
8) i do not wish to use the word "fuck" anymore, neither do i wish to use its variation in hokkien. or any vulgar sounding words. fine print: i'm not vulgar though... =)
9) i shall look at football as a totally innocent game of sport and not wish to make a killing out of the match results anymore. stop jioing me idiots!
10) i will only spend $300/month on basic expenses.

my mum will think of me as the perfect son if i even manage to keep to half of what i listed above, but hey, life is full of excitement when you keep your parents in the dark over some of your habitual but socially-wrong shenanigans. whoever that reads this, just dont waste time doing new year resolutions.

i'm sneezing non-stop now. either the room's too cold or someone's making noise about me now in the kitchen... better go help stuff the groceries into the fridge...
